Mr. O'Brien serves as Senior Advisor to Paramax Corporation.

Mr. O'Brien has more than 30 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and finance. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O’Brien served as a commissioned officer in the U. S. Marine Corps with assignments in Europe, the Caribbean and the Far East, and at various posts in the U. S., including duty as a strategic planner in Washington, D.C.  After leaving the Marine Corps, he held a variety of finance, strategic planning and corporate development positions with Rochester Telephone Corporation and Bausch & Lomb Incorporated before co-founding Capital Formation Group of Rochester, L.P., an investment banking and M&A advisory firm, in 1992. Capital Formation Group was acquired by Paramax Corporation in 2004.   

Mr. O’Brien holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He also has a Masters of Science in Operations Research and a Juris Doctorate.
