Paul O'Brien has more than 30 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and finance.  Prior to joining Paramax, Paul served as a commissioned officer in the U. S. Marine Corps with assignments in Europe, the Caribbean and the Far East, and at various posts in the U. S., including duty as a strategic planner in Washington, D.C.  After leaving the Marine Corps, he held a variety of finance, strategic planning and corporate development positions with Rochester Telephone Corporation and Bausch & Lomb Incorporated before co-founding Capital Formation Group of Rochester, L.P., an investment banking and M&A advisory firm, in 1992.  Capital Formation Group was later acquired by Paramax Corporation in 2004.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.  He also has a Masters of Science in Operations Research and a Juris Doctorate.
