Mr. Sorensen's professional experience includes over 30 years of commercial banking and investment banking experience. Mr. Sorensen spent 28 years in middle market commercial lending, and 15 of those were in management positions.  He was a Team Leader and Vice President at Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank, and a Senior Vice President at Key Bank before joining Capital Formation Group in 2001.  His in-depth banking experience includes credit risk management, credit underwriting, business development, sales management and investment banking.  He also has extensive experience in underwriting syndicated bank loan transactions.  In addition to commercial lending, he has managed commercial real estate portfolios and a private banking unit.

Mr. Sorensen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and is a registered Investment Banking Representative. He holds FINRA Series 62, 63, and 79 licenses.
